1964 – The Dave Clark Five performed “Glad All Over” on “The Ed Sullivan Show.”

1968 – George Harrison released the soundtrack “Wonderwall.” He was the first Beatle to release a solo album.

1969 – Faces was added to Warner Brothers records.

1987 – U2 opened for itself by pretending to be a country-rock group called The Dalton Brothers during a concert in Indianapolis, IN.
