1956 – Fats Domino appeared on the Ed Sullivan show and performed his hit “Blueberry Hill.”

1964 – The Supremes and The Righteous Brothers appeared on the show “Shindig!”

1970 – Jerry Lee Lewis and wife Myra Brown were divorced in Memphis.

1971 – Procol Harum recorded a concert with the Edmonton Symphony in Edmonton, Alberta, Canada. Portions would later be released as the album “Live with the Edmonton Symphony Orchestra.”
