The Stars That Support National Suicide Prevention Week

We’ve lost some musical friends to suicide over the years, from Kurt Cobain, Soundgarden’s Chris Cornell, to Linkin Park’s Chester Bennington. Something needs to be done, and a few of our favorites ae stepping up.

On September 9th, the ‘I’m Listening’ event will take place featuring Mike McCready and Stone Gossard from Pearl Jam, Alessia Cara, Third Eye Blind’s Stephan Jenkins, Bebe Rexha, Charlie Puth and more will join in. This event is designed to kick off ‘National Suicide Prevention Week’ and will begin a year-long media blitz designed to raise awareness about depression and the stigma of mental health in this country.
