The Rock: Wrestler, Actor…Rapper?

Joining Tech N9ne on his new single, “Face Off,” Dwayne “The Rock” Johnson will be making his first-ever rap debut. 

While many other rappers and hip-hop artists have apparently asked the wrestler-turned-actor to do the same, The Rock says it hasn’t “felt right” until now. “We’re aligned, just in terms of our work ethic and desire,” he said of himself and Tech, which is why he ultimately agreed to the collaboration. 

Tech expressed his own excitement for “Face Off,” calling it a song that will “get people pumped up to lift weights, pumped up for fights, pumped up for the game.” The Rock was his first pick to match that energy.
