The Next Best Thing to Dire Straits is ‘DSL’ on Tour This Fall

It’s been said that imitation is the sincerest form of flattery – if that were the case Dire Straits should feel pretty good about themselves right now.
DSL is a group of musicians that have played with the real Dire Straits over the years, a and much like the current David Bowie Tribute tour, featuring musicians that played with the late David Bowie, these musicians are living and call themselves the Dire Straits Legacy, or DSL.

DSL will launch its first tour of the U.S. next month, and the current lineup consists of King Crimson’s Mel Collins, Yes’s Trevor Horn, Tom Petty & the Heartbreakers drummer Steve Ferrone, Marco Caviglia, and keyboardist Primiano DiBiase.

Here are the confirmed ‘Dire Straits Legacy’ dates this fall

9/26 — Los Angeles, CA
9/28 — Riverside, CA
9/29 — St. Charles, MO
10/2 — St. Charles, IL
10/4 — Fort Lauderdale, FL
10/5 — St. Petersburg, FL
10/6 — Westbury, NY
