Charles Barkley was a star NBA player for many years. Brandon Flowers is one of the big names from the band The Killers. Amazingly enough, these two saw their lives mixed over 15 years ago and we heard about it from Flowers this past weekend.
During NBA All-Star Game weekend, Flowers and the rest of the band performed, and did quite well we might add, and then we got a great laugh. Flowers said that when he was in Las Vegas 16 years ago, he was given a low tip after cleaning Barkley’s golf clubs. He said that Barkley only gave him $5 for it. Barkley’s excuse is that he thought he was giving him $20 but was mistaken. It doesn’t sound like it was a big deal to Flowers because he also said the fact that he got to talk with him meant more to him.
