The Hollywood Walk of Fame is located along 15 blocks of Hollywood Boulevard and three blocks of Vine Street in Hollywood, California, considered an honor worthy of celebrity and stars from all over the world. Over 10 million visitors will take the walk to view the stars that grace the walk. The Walk of Fame is a project overseen by the Hollywood Chamber of Commerce, and it makes good business sense to support the stars this way.
The Backstreet Boys, Tony Bennett, George Benson, Mariah Carey, The Carpenters, Chicago, Destiny’s Child, Earth Wind & Fire, Neil Diamond, Celine Dion, Melissa Etheridge, Kenny ‘Baby Face’ Edmonds, Kenny G, Marvin Gaye, Hall and Oates, George Harrison, Michael and Janet Jackson, Billy Joel, Chaka Khan, Cyndi Lauper, Rod Stewart, Sting, Tina Turner, Shania Twain, Stevie Wonder and Barry Manilow can all be found on the walk.
