The Canadian group ‘The Guess Who’ almost lost their lead singer the other day, as Burton Cummings was involved in a horrific car accident in LA in early May, but did not sustain serious injuries (the driver of the other car who was at fault did die though, unfortunately).
The current version of the Guess Who (sans Burton) includes original member Gary Peterson and ensemble will release a new studio LP called ‘The Future IS What It Used to Be’ in mid-September. Normally this would not be big news, but the album contains specials guests and artist contributions of original member Jim Kale, Styx’s Tommy Shaw, Slash drummer Brent Fitz, and Whitesnake bassist Michael Devlin.
