The first week of the MLB season is officially over and many teams are already riding hot streaks while many are struggling to even get their first win. Let’s take a look at the teams who are playing their best right now and don’t want to stop playing. (Please note all stats are from end of Sunday’s MLB action).

The Baltimore Orioles are crushing it right now! They’re the lone undefeated team in baseball and don’t seem to be slowing down. While they haven’t played the best of teams (Twins and Rays), they have shown a lot during those five games. Their 5-0 record is because of their ability to play close games and keep the score low. Those are two talents all teams in the MLB would love to have.

The Cubs, Reds, Royals, and Tigers all have just one loss, but the first two teams have five wins. Considering the Cubs played out west in games against the Diamondbacks and the Angels, we’re impressed. They lost Kyle Schwarber for the loss due to a tragic ACL injury, but this team is loaded! The Reds and Cubs face off starting Monday, so the action should be fun to watch.

The Tigers and Royals are atop the AL Central with 4-1 and 5-1 records respectively. Both teams look to continue their recent success over the past few seasons.
