Life sure can be goofy. Hollywood stars want to be famous singers, while all singers think they can act and deserve to be in the movies. If you’re familiar with Hailee Steinfeld, you’re the exception to the rule. Hailee is in the middle of the charts with a great tune called “Most Girls,” but you already know her as an actress, starring in ‘True Grit’ and ‘The Edge of Seventeen.’
Hailee was born in Hollywood, but neither one of her parents was in the business. Her mom was an interior designer, her dad a personal fitness instructor.
Here’s the skinny; Hailee was getting good roles in films, making a name for her-self and proving herself to her peers. She’s appeared in 22 films thus far. Her change of direction came with her being cast in “Pitch Perfect 2,” which called upon her to sing. Low and behold, that girl can sing!
