The B-52s Reveal Plans for Farewell Tour

Despite having said in 2019 that the B-52s would not headline any more tours, Fred Schneider, Katie Pierson, Keith Strickland, Cindy Wilson, and the other current members of the B-52s have just announced that they will be embarking on a farewell tour at the end of this summer.

Kicking off in Seattle, Washington, on August 22, the Georgia band will tour in select cities across the United States before wrapping up in Atlanta, Georgia, on November 11. The Tubes and KC & The Sunshine Band will both support the tour throughout the fall.

2008’s Funplex was the B-52s’ last album.
