We’re all familiar with the nationally popular ‘Austin City Limits’ live television show, the partner of the real venue that has brought music fans the best acts for over 40 years. Did you know that the Austin City Limits’ has a hall of fame? The 2017 class was announced recently, and it includes Roy Orbison, The Neville Brothers, and Rosanne Cash.
The induction ceremony of this year’s class will be held at the ACL’s studio home, Austin’s ACL Live at The Moody Theater, October 25th. Singer-songwriter Chris Isaak is the host or master of ceremonies. Congrats to the friends and families of Roy Orbison, The Neville Brothers and Rosanne Cash!
Who else is in the celebrated Austin City Limits Hall of Fame? Asleep at the Wheel, Loretta Lynn, B. B. King, Kris Kristofferson, Bonnie Raitt, and Stevie Ray Vaughn with Double Trouble are all in this Hall. For some reason, former University of Texas college football coach Darrell Royal is also in the Austin City Limits Hall of Fame.
Liam Payne, formerly of One Direction, is getting her solo career off and running and it all begins May 19. This is when his recently announced solo single has been set to released.
