Following the first weekend of Coachella, when Weezer surprised fans by bringing Tears for Fears (Roland Orzabal and Curt Smith) onto the main stage to perform their hit “Everybody Wants to Rule the World,” they kept the carried on with a rendition of the song on Monday, April 15th’s episode of Jimmy Kimmel Live!

Smith sung the first verse of the rock anthem, with Orzabal joining him on the chorus. Weezer frontman Rivers Cuomo then took over the second verse, and they ended with three-part harmonies.

Weezer’s Teal album was released January 24th, and “Everybody Wants to Rule the World” appears on it. The whole album is composed entirely of cover songs including Toto’s “Africa,” A-ha’s “Take On Me” and Michael Jackson’s “Billie Jean.”
