Taylor Swift Takes Down Another Record

Taylor Swift has been making news, winning a legal battle in a Denver courtroom recently. Now, she’s making news with YouTube. Her new music video for “Look What You Made Me Do,” has just broken all records for most views in a 24 hour period; over 43 million views!

The previous record holders of most watched video on YouTube in a 24 hour period was Adele and Luis Fonsi. If you remember the South Korean one hit wonder PSY, he’d broken records for his “Gentlemen” had nearly 36 million views in 24 hours.

So let’s break that down; Taylor Swift’s “Look What You Made Me Do,” video needed three million views per hour to earn the top spot. “Look What You Made Me Do” is the breakout first tune from her long awaited LP ‘Reputation,’ which drops in mid-November.
