Taylor Swift Stalker Ruled Unfit For Trial

Taylor Swift has had an interesting year; she’s been in a Denver court winning a lawsuit, hit the charts with great tunes, and this week has been dealing with a stalker. Taylor’s overexcited fan Mohammed Jaffar had been obsessed with Taylor for over a year, initially, Tweeting his dying devotion to extremes, chasing her across the country, and literally frightening Taylor and her management team.

This week, Mohammed Jaffar was ruled mentally unfit to stand trial for his stalking, remaining in a mental institution as officials determine their next step. What would you do if you wound a dangerous fan camping out on the rood of your building, buzzing your doorbell for over an hour trying to get in? Handwritten notes, unwanted Tweets, and physical threats had caused the man to be arrested earlier in the year; the legal action was to begin this month.
