Taylor Swift Makes Surprise at GLAAD Awards

At the GLAAD Media Awards this past weekend, we were not expecting to see Taylor Swift in attendance. We were surprised to see her hit the stage and present an award, but we love it!

Taylor presented the Stephen F. Kolzak Award to Ruby Rose Saturday night at the event held in Beverly Hills, California. Ruby plays a large role in the hit Netflix original series, Orange is the New Black.

The Stephen F. Kolzak Award is given to a media member that plays a large part in promoting equality for the LGBT community. The award is named after Mr. Kolzak, a casting director in his time who lived his life with the desire to raising awareness to the discrimination of the LGBT community.
