Hacking into social media accounts is the new cool thing to do apparently because we saw plenty of it happen this past week. Twitter’s security must not be strong enough for these hackers because we saw Tenacious D, Tame Impala, and Keith Richards all have their accounts hacked.
The tweets that were sent out during this time of hacking were pretty personal and obviously unwanted by the band. Tenacious D’s account tweeted out that Jack Black had died and Keith Richards’ Twitter handle was changed to “@ihavelegcancer.”

Tame Impala’s account tweeted about an airline bomb threat and it sounded like “he” even made one himself.

Obviously all tweets have been deleted and apologies have been sent out. None of the derogatory and rude tweets were sent by those parties, but instead were sent by the hackers.
