SXSW Begins Today, What Are You Waiting For?

Austin, Texas doesn’t need a reason to hop; it’s already a pretty happening place. Austin is the place to be this week and next for the SXSW (South by South West) festival that encompasses technology, film music, interactive and gaming, beginning today March 9th and continuing through March 18th.

If you’ve never been to the SXSW, just imagine Canadian Music Week, Mardi Gras, the Technology convention from Vegas, and Woodstock all rolled into one experience. The real excitement can be found at the Faith Market for the Country Club experience and the SXSW showcase. The featured artists will be Kane Brown, Elle King, the Old Crow Medicine Show and more. If you’re a fan of Folk music, countries dear cousin you’ll enjoy great Folk headliners Nikki Lane, Tyler Childers, Whitney Rose, Jade Bird, and Marlon Williams through the week.

There will be over 2,000 performers this year on various music stages this year at the SXSW March 9th through March 18th in Austin, TX.
