Star Studded Celebration in Honor of Willie Nelson

Willie Nelson will be honored with a special all-star concert celebration in January. Titled Willie: Life & Songs Of An American Outlaw, A Willie Nelson All-Star Concert Celebration, the Jan. 12 event will take place at Nashville’s Bridgestone Arena and be broadcast on A&E Network next year.

The concert will honor the living legend and feature some of his biggest hits performed by an impressive roster of artists. In addition to a set by 85-year-old Nelson himself, Alison Krauss, the Avett Brothers, George Strait, Jack Johnson, John Mellencamp, Kris Kristofferson, Lee Ann Womack, Lyle Lovett, Norah Jones and the Little Willies, Sheryl Crow, Susan Tedeschi & Derek Trucks, and Vince Gill will take the stage. More artists are expected to be announced in the coming weeks, along with several surprise guests.

Tickets for the event will go on sale Nov. 12 at 10AM CT online at Livenation.com, by phone at 800-745-3000, and at the Bridgestone Arena box office. The concert in January will be hosted by Blackbird Presents.
