Splitknot Postpones Many US Tour Dates

Unfortunately for Slipknot and their fans, the band has been forced into postponing tour dates for the first few weeks of their upcoming United States tour. This is all because Corey Taylor, their frontman, has been forced into having emergency spinal surgery.

While back injuries typically are very serious, the band has suggested that they will be back by the end of the month. They are postponing the first two weeks with plans to reschedule those dates and will be back in action on June 28 in Nashville, Tennessee.

The surgery has been finished at this point and is said to be recovering at this time. We’ll have to keep Corey in our thoughts and hope that he’ll be strong enough to endure a U.S. tour this summer.
