Sony Poised to Make Beyoncé Catalog Available to Millions of Fans

Beyoncé’s net worth is said to be near $360 million dollars, so you can’t blame her for going on a spending spree. Reports that she bought a church in New Orleans are yet to be confirmed however, a news item that had reported as fact this week. The 7,500-square-foot church at Camp and Seventh streets had been bought by somebody for approximately $800,000+, which adds fuel to the fire as the location of the church is close to where her sister Solange lives.

She did however make news we can confirm with details of Sony agreeing to buy 60% of EMI, giving Sony the ability to add her music to the groups copywrite catalog, making her music more accessible.

Beyoncé stole the show at the recent Coachella outdoor festival, and she and her husband are set to begin the ‘On The Run II’ tour, kicking off the American leg June 25th, in Cleveland.
