This is prime time for weddings, and finding the best wedding songs for the DJ or live local tribute band, is always a challenge. Let us help you with the best to play, and the one to avoid.

The best wedding songs to play should include “Butterfly Kisses” by Bob Carlisle. This tune will bring dad to his knees with lyrics that remind him of how his little girl is now a grown up. Where are the grandchildren?!

“Treasure” by Bruno Mars is a favorite for upbeat entrances for the bridal party. Who doesn’t like a good treasure hunt?

“Thinking Out Loud” by Ed Sheeran has grown in popularity as the song that reminds the bride and grooms the real meaning of love and marriage; soft and sweet.

If you’re nostalgic you can’t beat the Peter Stookey “Wedding Song” classic oldie from the 60s.

For heaven’s sake avoid “Feelings,” “Proud Mary,” “Celebration” and “Don’t Stop Believing” on principal alone. Thank you!
