Solange Knowles to Release Album Friday

Solange Knowles is most known for her relation to Beyonce, her sister, but she has her own budding singing career. She has been active in music for many years and released her first album way back in 2002. It was titled “Solo Star” and is quite impressive if not for the fact she was just 16 when it was released! She has released two other albums over the years and has another coming on Friday!

“A Seat at the Table” is the name of this upcoming album release and it’s one to get excited about for sure. Among collaborations on the album include BJ the Chicago Kid, The-Dream, Kelly Rowland, Q-Tip and Lil Wayne.

We’re all looking forward to this album in part because she’s reportedly spent many years working on it. On Tuesday, Solange announced that the album would be coming out on Friday via Twitter.
