It wasn’t too long ago that we reported the news that Corey Taylor was going to have neck surgery due to issues he was having. This caused the band’s tour to be postponed, but now he’s back! The crazy thing about it is that he is performing with a neck brace on.

You heard us right. He played in front of thousands of fans in Nashville, Tennessee Tuesday night with a neck brace on. Not surprisingly, doctors ordered him not to do any jumping or headbanging for obvious safety reasons.

The band played 17 songs for their fans and it was quite the show. Taylor has been very vocal about his return yelling to the crowd Tuesday night that there was no way he was going to be missing this show. He also has said that it’ll take 4-6 months for him to be “back to 90 percent” and it would take a year for him to reach 100%. This is great news for the band and we’re just glad he’s back doing what he loves to do.
