Slipnot is currently gearing up a European tour, which kicks off next week at Rockfest on June 7 at Hyyvinkaa Airfield in Hyvinaa, Finland.
On Wednesday, May 29th, Lead singer Corey Taylor revealed that he suffered a most unfortunate accident while warming up his voice in rehearsal recently.
“Working on my ’87 Dokken high notes this morning,” he tweeted. “Fucked around and blew out the left testicle. Careful on re-entry, kids.” A spokesperson could not be reached for comment at press time to confirm the injury or discuss whether it will impact any upcoming shows. Taylor’s fiancee, Alice Dove, assured fans that her intended is just fine in a tweet a short time later reading “Can confirm: @CoreyTaylorRock’s balls are just fine.
The band is slated to release its latest album, We Are Not Your Kind, on August 9th 2019.
