Can you believe it has already been six years since Rihanna released “What’s My Name?” The single was released on October 26, 2010. There’s more to this hit than just a great single that was nominated for a Grammy. With her current relationship with Drake, it’s interesting to bring up that this very song was her very first collaboration with him. Nowadays, the two can’t stop working together and putting out great hits!
“What’s My Name?” was Rihanna’s sixth number one hit on the US Billboard Hot 100 chart and wouldn’t be her last that’s for sure. It wouldn’t just do well in the US though. It would hit number one in Scotland, Hungary and the UK as well.
Like most great hits, it was performed for a live audience on a television show. This hit was performed on the series finale of The X Factor (UK) and Saturday Night Live.
