Just a few days ago John McEnroe, the tennis great from the past, came out and made comments about where Serena Williams would be ranked in the world if she played in the men’s circuit. He said that in that scenario she would be ranked 700th. We don’t think that’s the case at all as she’s an amazing talent and athlete and even though she’s six months pregnant right now, she could still compete when in her prime.
Serena has bigger fish to fry right now as she is pregnant. We’re thinking this might be the reason why she skipped the BET Awards that took place Sunday night. That night she was up for Sportswoman of the Year, an award that she would win! What an honor it is and you can just tell that it’s an honor because of the big names she had to beat. Serena beat out her sister, Venus, Skylar Diggins-Smith, Gabby Douglas and Simone Biles.
