This week we have not gotten enough of Selena Gomez! This time around we’re here to tell you about her recent big honor, being named the Woman of the Year by Billboard! She will be awarded this one later this month, November 30. This recent honor puts her in a legendary class of female stars with previous winners including Katy Perry, Taylor Swift, Madonna and Lady Gaga among others.
She wins this one in part because she has put out great music in 2017 but also because she has become a huge role model for young women everywhere. Her strength as she went through a kidney transplant and her work on 13 Reasons Why, the Netflix hit, had to have been big reasons why she was awarded the Billboard Woman of the Year.
