Scorpions Release Premiere Single From Upcoming “Rock Believer” Album

German hard-rockers Scorpions have just released the premiere single from their upcoming Rock Believer album called “Peacemaker.”

Kalus Meine shared the inspiration behind the lyrics of the classic new track: “Peacemaker, peacemaker / Bury the undertaker.”

“At a time when so many people have died and are still dying of COVID, from devastating wars and other senseless crimes, it makes you feel that the undertaker must be working overtime,” the singer explained. “In a peaceful world after the pandemic, it will be time for the peacemaker to rule … that’s an image that really appeals to me.”

Rock Believer, the band’s first studio album since 2015, will be out on February 25th of next year.
