Sammy Hagar believes in giving back, so that’s exactly what he’s planning on doing this May 15th at the Fillmore in San Francisco. Sammy’s headlining this year’s Acoustic-4-a-Cure benefit concert to help celebrate Taj Mahal’s 75th birthday. The lineup includes Grateful Dead’s Bob Weir, members of the band Chickenfoot, Kevin Cronin from REO Speedwagon, Vic Johnson, Van Helen’s Michael Anthony, Joe Satriani, Eddie Money and more.

The Acoustic-4-a-Cure benefit concert is designed to benefit the Pediatric Cancer Program at the UCSF Benioff Children’s Hospital and has been a success each year with the help of giving artists. The hospital treats more than 5,000 children each year, including more than 2,000 babies born in the hospital.
