A New Salt-N-Pepa Series is Coming to Lifetime

It has been reported that Salt-N-Pepa will be the subject of a new Lifetime miniseries. The scripted show, aptly titled Salt-N-Pepa, will tell the story of Cheryl “Salt” James and Sandra “Pepa” Denton during their rise to success, the network revealed at its upfronts today (March 26). Denton and James are producers on the series, along with Queen Latifah, and they have licensed their music to be used on the program.

The author of the BET show The New Edition, Abdul Williams, will be writing the show.

Unfortunately, there’s no word on a premiere just yet.
