Roger Federer Defeated in Fourth Round

The fourth round of the US Open in tennis just took place and there’s one name that took a surprising loss. Roger Federer was defeated in four sets against John Millman! This is a shocking upset as Millman is ranked 55 to Federer’s two.

Federer took the first set 6-3 but would then be beat in three straight by the count of 7-5, 7-6, and finally 7-6 again. This was a crazy match to watch because Millman came out the other day and said that Federer was his hero! Rumor has it though that the veteran near top-ranked player struggled with the heat.

Federer’s fourth-round loss is his earliest loss at this event in the past five years.
