Our new president will begin his new gig in January of 2017, and you may have heard that president elect Trump announced that Elton John will be performing at the festivities. Well, that was news to Elton who strongly denied it in the harshest of words. There were however, plenty of rock stars that happily participated in inaugural ceremonies.

Fleetwood Mac was an integral part of the Clinton swearing in, while Elvis was a big fan and participant of President Nixon’s searing in. Gene Simmons spent a lot of time with President Bush (W) and George Harrison was hanging around President Fords’ house during the ceremonies. The Beach Boys were somewhat associated with then President Reagan in the late 80s.

Ted Nugent has been a big supporter of our President Elect Donald J. Trump, but we’ve not heard of any official performance.
