Every year we see Forbes release a list of the top earners when it comes to celebrities and there is no shortage of rockers involved in this year’s list. While none reached Taylor Swift status ($170 million), a few rockers made enough to make momma proud.
AC/DC leads the way of all rockers young and old with $67.5 million earned last year, finishing them at the number 17 position. They can thank an amazing tour as the reason why that number finished so high.
Muse leads the way in terms of younger rock bands as the number 44 earner last year. The band made $49 million last year in large part because they had released their huge album, “Drones” and went on a world tour to promote it. Pollstars reported that the Drones World Tour grossed $23 million from its 34 shows!
The Foo Fighters finished right behind them at number 45. This band that has been around for what feels like forever and is still going on strong made $48.5 million last year.
