Rockers’ Deaths That Shook Us

2016 was a tough year for rockers their fans. We lost Glenn Frey, David Bowie, Lemmy and Leon Russell to name just a few. Let’s take look at most famous deaths that occurred over the years in rock, and why our loss was deeper than we realized..

Conclusions: All of these stars died before their time; three artists are members of the ’27 club (age 27 at death). Michael, Freddie, John and Elvis stopped a genre cold, while Terry Kath’s death was senseless (accidental shooting). Buddy, Big Bopper and Ritchie’s death shook an innocent generation, while Michael Jackson’s death offered closure to a troubled past.
