Rockers and Their Weird Requests!

Rock Bands can be pretty fickle on stage and in their personal lives, yet when it comes to the requests some bands make for their venue dressing rooms – it gets really funky. Here are more odd demands or requirements for dressing rooms a few of the biggest stars require while on the road…

Van Halen wants M&M, but NO brown ones. They thought, when they arrived backstage, if the brown M&Ms were gone, someone actually read the rider. Metallica requires the venue to provide enough breakfast food for 100 people, with lots of bacon.

Elton John always requests 74 towels backstage, while Led Zeppelin demanded four irons and ironing boards for personal use back in the day.

During one tour Motley Crue’s rider (what the host must provide in the dressing room for the members of the band) included a boa constrictor and a schedule for local Alcoholics’ Anonymous meetings. AC/DC demanded English cheese and crackers for their arrival.

The greatest band ever the Beatles only asked for a large black and white TV and Coca-Cola to be available in their dressing room. My, how times have changed!
