Steven Bochco, the man solely responsible for changing popular television with ‘Hiss Street Blues,’ ‘LA Law,’ and “NYPD Blue’ has died at the age of 74, Steven had been battling Leukemia for brief period of time, succumbing to the disease in New York City.

Steven earned 10 Emmy’s for his television work, but his peers credit his willingness to take chances, never apologizing for ‘Cop Rock’ or other adventuresome projects that were quickly panned by viewers and critics.
