One year ago on March 20, Glee was on television for the final time. This one year anniversary is a sad time for a show that lasted six seasons, but it’s time we celebrate it.

William McKinley High School was the made up high school and the cast was their glee club. Throughout the six seasons, the show tackled all sorts of social issues. The show started with 12 cast members, but would expand to a much larger number by the time it was all said and done.

After six seasons, the show had four Emmys to show for it with three of them coming in 2010. Neil Patrick Harris, Jane Lynch, Ryan Murphy, and Gwyneth Paltrow each won awards with the show either in 2010 or 2011.

In total, the show had over 725 musical performances during its 121 episodes.
