Red Hot Chili Peppers Join Will Ferrell For ‘Best Night of Your Life’

We didn’t know this, but evidently Red Hot Chili Peppers drummer Chad Smith looks a great deal like film actor and comedian Will Ferrell. So, the Red Hots drummer has agreed to perform at Will’s ‘Best Night of Your Life’ benefit show, held October 6 at the Greek Theatre in Los Angeles.

Chad will be joined by Guns N’ Roses’ Duff McKagan, Coldplay’s Chris Martin, Pearl Jam’s Mike McCready, and fellow Red Hot Chili Peppers Josh Klinghoffer. The benefit is designed to raise money and awareness for Will Ferrell’s pet charity ‘Cancer for College’ giving college scholarships to bright, low-income cancer survivors.
Tickets went on sale last Friday, and the celebrities scheduled to appear October 6th include Conan O’Brien, James Corden, Samantha Bee, Jimmy Kimmel, Jerry Seinfeld and more.
