There’s a lot going on in sports right now, so it’s hard to focus on one thing today. Football for the week began last night, the Ryder Cup has begun, and baseball is still going strong. Let’s talk about it all…

The Ryder Cup is going on and started just this morning at 2am Eastern. At the time of writing this, The United States is playing quite well with three US teams up in their matches right now.

College and professional football got it started last night. Miami (FL) took down UNC big even with the young N’Kosi Perry under center. They won 47-10 led by a great ground game and defensive effort. The Rams beat the Vikings 38-31 in what was a very fun matchup. Both Kirk Cousins and Jared Goff put up astronomical numbers in this one.

Finally, CC Sabathia was all set for a nice bonus when things took a turn for the worse! He was pitching great in Thursday’s matchup but decided he was too upset with the umpire not to let him know. Well, the umpire then threw him out of the game. The crazy part is that he was two innings away from a bonus of half a million dollars!
