Rachel Platten Set to Headline Boston Pops July 4th Celebration

Pop star and North East native Rachel Platten is planning on having a terrific July 4th this year and is scheduled to headline the 2018 Boston Pops Fireworks show, on the 4th from Boston’s Back Bay Hatch Shell. If you have any recollection of July 4th celebrations in the USA, this is likely to be the one you remember.

Also scheduled to appear in Boston the 4th of July are actress Rita Moreno, Rhiannon Giddens, The Indigo Girls, and a few surprise guests. Rachel grew up in Newton Centre, MA, and she’s really looking forward to the positive press following her National Anthem flub on national television earlier in the year.

The July 4th Boston Pops live celebration will begin at 8pm in the harbor but will also be streamed live on BostonPopsJuly4th.org.
