Rachel Platten Reaches the Top

Every week we discuss the Mediabase top 10 chart for Hot AC music, seeing plenty of moving and shaking. This week is certainly on the high end of moving and shaking, as we have new artists/songs in every spot but two. The most impactful change is Rachel Platten to the top spot. Her song “Stand By You” has made some big jumps over the recent weeks culminating with the top spot this week. She barely overtook Ellie Goulding’s “On My Mind,” generating just 44 more spins than Ellie this week.
