Prince to Be Honored at Billboard Music Awards

The music world stopped for a moment on April 21 when Prince passed away at the age of 57. He was more than a singer, musician, artist, and performer. He was everything we wanted music to be. At the Billboard Music Awards, Madonna will be honoring Prince and we think she’s the perfect fit for that.

The specifics for the performance are being kept under wrap, but we’re sure she’s going to do Prince right with her performance. In her own right, Madonna is one of the most impactful musicians of her time just like Prince was.

To catch the Billboard Music Awards, tune in on May 22 at 8pm. The show will be co-hosted by Ciara and Ludacris and will be aired live from Las Vegas. Another performer at the event is The Weeknd. He has 19 nominations spanning 16 award categories.
