TMZ and the Associated Press are reporting that Prince has passed away at the age of 57 at his residence in Chanhassen, Minnesota. At first, it was known that someone had passed at his house in Paisley Park, but it is unfortunately being said that it is in fact Prince.
Recently, he had been sent to the hospital after an emergency plane landing because of flu like symptoms. There is no known reason for his death at this time.
Prince will forever be known as one of the greatest entertainers of multiple generations. He was inducted into the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame in 2004 and had won seven Grammys. He’s also known as one of the best-selling artists with over 100 million albums sold during his career.
Our thoughts are with his family, friends, and fans during this truly unfortunate time.
