The NCAA Championship game is finally upon us! It took months and months of patience, but everyone’s brackets have basically been busted at this point. Who would have guessed that both Oregon and South Carolina would make the semi-finals of the tournament? Well, while those two are surprises, the two teams to make the championship are not.
Gonzaga went almost the entire season without a loss and came into the tournament playing very good basketball. They got by with some close wins after having big leads in multiple games, but all that matters is that they got here! They have a plethora of big men that are talented with plenty of shooting to go along with it.
North Carolina had to face some stiff competition to get to this point, beating some big names in basketball along the way like Kentucky and Butler. They beat Oregon on Saturday night, coming back in both the first and second halves to win. They have star forward Justin Jackson leading the way with some other older talent around him.
This championship game tonight should be a good one!
