Recently, President Obama sat down with some of the biggest rap stars in the game right now to talk about something serious, criminal justice policy reform. The discussion focused on “My Brother’s Keeper” and how to make it better.

Those that sat down with the President included J. Cole, Nicki Minaj, Common, Timbaland, DJ Khaled, Alicia Keys, Ludacris, and Busta Rhymes among a few others.

For those that don’t know, My Brother’s Keeper is an initiative that tries to support “disadvantage young men of color,” which makes perfect sense to sit down with these talented stars. Many of these rappers if not all of them have attacked this topic on their own in their music and in their spoken word.
