Post Malone Leads the Mac Miller Tributes

Mac Miller was born Malcolm McCormick but was known as Mac Miller to his fans and peers. Sadly, as we know, Mac died September 7th at the age of 26, and the ME has yet to reveal a cause of death. A few of the biggest stars have tried to show their love for Mac, and Post Malone may have topped them all.

When Malone appeared at the weekend KAABOO Del Mar festival, wearing a shirt that showed orange and blue flowers with the message that read “RIP Mac Miller.” Others have been heard: G-Eazy posted an Instagram message for Mac that read “Be kind to yourself.”

Ariana Grande dated Mac for nearly two years posted a message on her social accounts that talked about the love she had for him, saying that she hopes he’s okay now. Sunday at the Pittsburgh Steelers first home game (Pittsburgh was Mac’s hometown) the team combined sports and music as Steeler player James Conner wore a pair of custom-painted football shoes that were adorned with the face of Mac.
