Pop Tarts releases a Mister-E Flavor and invites you to Guess and Win!

For the first time ever, our favorite toaster pastry brand is giving us a chance to win big and guess what the flavor is on their new mystery box. According to a press release from Pop-Tarts, it seems that they had a bit of a break in at the factory leading to a new flavor being created. They ended up loving the creation so much that they have decided to hire “Mister E” to help them launch this new innovation.

Mister E is the brand’s world-class investigator and title character on the box. There’s a whole behind the new mystery flavor to get us all in a detective mindset. “A masked culprit popped into the Pop-Tarts factory and created a mysterious, delicious new flavor. Don’t worry, Mister E is on the case. And what’s a mystery without some sleuthing and a little friendly competition? Pop-Tarts is inviting fans to join Mister E by sharing their best flavor guesses for a chance to win prizes,” the press release details.

The blue box features Mister E, complete with sunglasses and a mustache. The pastries themselves include white frosting and a multicolored question mark. The filling inside, however, is what we’ll have to figure out. You’ll be able to snag this treat at retail stores nationwide beginning in May 2021. It’ll be available in eight- and 16-count boxes, and if you ask us, we say go with the larger size so you have more opportunity to taste and guess the mystery flavor.

For the chance to win the Pop-Tarts sweepstakes, scan the QR code on your box of Pop-Tarts and Mister E will appear in augmented reality to help you find clues to lead you to the answer. From May 27 to Aug. 31, you can submit your flavor guess through KFR.com/PTmysteryflavor. You could win prizes such as gaming consoles, brand hoodies, and brand embroidered hats. Plus, you’ll have the ultimate bragging rights, of course.
