Pharrell Williams is putting his money, time and energy into giving back, as he’s helping raise money in New York for the arts foundation. Pharrell’s ‘Yellow Gala Ball’ will be held September 10th at the Brooklyn Museum, benefiting arts and music classes in the city, victims of typical budget cuts.
September 10th is the date for the benefit of helping the Young ‘Audiences Arts for Learning organization,’ and the ball will part of the night’s festivities. Those in attendance will also be treated to a live meet and greet with a performance by Missy Elliott.
It’s no secret that one of the first departments to suffer budget cuts when a school or district are forced to reduces expenses, and the ‘Yellow Gala Ball’ is Pharrell’s way of doing what he can to support the arts and music departments of schools.
