Paul McCartney Says He’s No Longer Signing Autographs

After decades of living that rockstar life of fans and fawning, Beatles legend Paul McCartney has recently revealed that he will no longer be signing autographs. 

Believing the act of autographs to be “a bit strange,” McCartney questions the purpose behind offering his name on paper to fans. “Why?” He ponders, “We both know who I am.” 

While he says he has no issue with interacting with fans, the rocker would rather have a conversation than “write [his] name down on the back of [a] tile receipt.” 

“Let’s chat,” he encourages fans in a recent interview. “Let’s exchange stories.”
